Hello audiofolks, I have succesfully installed Squeezelite (64 bits version) on my Xubuntu 13.10 beta system. It plays very well but I encountered a problem wich I cannot solf bt myself.
When using streaming radio the player plays all well and nothing particulary happened. Pauzing and replaying is delt without any errors. But.... When I am stopping (on/off button) the player while its playing streaming radio (not tested with other formats (mp3/flac library) causes Xubuntu (audio via Pulseaudio) to use a lot of cpu power. Both squeezelite and pulseaudio use approximately 60-70%. I logged the info output of squeezelite and received the next output when pressing the on/off button on LMS browserwindow: Code: -------------------- [14:45:03.459353] sendSTAT:151 STAT: STMt [14:45:04.460467] sendSTAT:151 STAT: STMt [14:45:04.944544] process:409 audg [14:45:04.944599] process_audg:357 audg gainL: 0 gainR: 0 adjust: 1 [14:45:04.944818] process:409 strm [14:45:04.944859] process_strm:219 strm command p [14:45:04.944876] sendSTAT:151 STAT: STMp [14:45:04.944907] process_strm:250 pause interval: 0 [14:45:04.948240] process:409 aude [14:45:04.948278] process_aude:340 enable spdif: 0 dac: 0 [14:45:04.962382] output_thread:695 disabling output [14:45:05.949319] sendSTAT:151 STAT: STMt [14:45:06.457907] process:409 strm [14:45:06.457964] process_strm:219 strm command t [14:45:06.457981] sendSTAT:151 STAT: STMt [14:45:07.459042] sendSTAT:151 STAT: STMt [14:45:08.460265] sendSTAT:151 STAT: STMt -------------------- And after a while (3 minutes) when my systems cpu usage is roused to above 60%: Code: -------------------- [14:48:02.447155] process_strm:219 strm command t [14:48:02.447173] sendSTAT:151 STAT: STMt [14:48:03.448259] sendSTAT:151 STAT: STMt [14:48:05.449518] sendSTAT:151 STAT: STMt [14:48:05.451757] process:409 strm [14:48:05.451804] process_strm:219 strm command q [14:48:05.451820] decode_flush:181 decode flush [14:48:05.451833] output_flush:1443 flush output buffer [14:48:05.451849] sendSTAT:151 STAT: STMf [14:48:05.491396] output_thread:601 open output device: default [14:48:05.494283] alsa_open:270 opened device default using format: S32_LE sample rate: 44100 mmap: 0 [14:48:05.494342] alsa_open:335 buffer: 40 period: 4 -> buffer size: 1764 period size: 441 [14:48:06.446746] process:409 strm [14:48:06.446799] process_strm:219 strm command t [14:48:06.446816] sendSTAT:151 STAT: STMt [14:48:10.447994] process:409 strm [14:48:10.448051] process_strm:219 strm command t [14:48:10.448071] sendSTAT:151 STAT: STMt [14:48:14.448512] process:409 strm [14:48:14.448566] process_strm:219 strm command t [14:48:14.448582] sendSTAT:151 STAT: STMt -------------------- Within the browser window the player is still switched off and there is no audible music.
