I may be l wrong but there isn't a hf version - there is a later 7.8 nightly tweaked for the Raspi, I believe. Otherwise, why not just use the deb package - I installed this ages ago on a cheap Chinese arm tablet running ubuntu 9.04. It worked. Your mileage may vary!
