Hi All,
I've got Squeezelite running on Raspbian on a Raspberry Pi and I'm
hugely impressed :)
But I have an issue with intermittent short crackles during playback.
Some tracks seem to do it worse than others, but it's not always in the
same place on the track and doesn't seem to make any difference whether
I'm playing FLACs or MP3s, but both are coming from a local NAS.
I have an external USB DAC with an XMOS chipset which exhibited the same
issue playing the same files with Raspyfi software, but is totally fine
if I use it via my laptop.
I've applied the Raspberry Pi firmware update by running

I've tried adjusting the SL_ALSA_PARAMS figure, but I've tried values
from 40 to 4,000 and it doesn't appear to make any difference.
I'm fairly new to this and pretty fresh to linux, but I'm happy to learn
:)
Can anyone help me to diagnose the cause of these issue please?
