JackOfAll: I thought I would alert you to the fact that there is a conflict between the ffmep2-libs file from Community Squeeze and the OpenShot video editor package from RPMFusion. Since Community Squeeze depends on RPMFusion, you may want to look into the issue. No errors are raised during the installation. The error generated by OpenShot after installing ffmpeg2-libs is: ------------------------- ERROR 1 ------------------------------ Failed to import 'from openshot import main' Error Message: cannot import name main ---------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------- OpenShot (version 1.4.3) -------------------------------- Process no longer exists: 2738. Creating new pid lock file. No LADSPA plugins were found!
Check your LADSPA_PATH environment variable. mlt_repository_init: failed to dlopen /usr/lib64/mlt/libmltavformat.so (/lib64/libavcodec.so.54: symbol avpriv_update_lls, version LIBAVUTIL_52 not defined in file libavutil.so.52 with link time reference) Detecting formats, codecs, and filters... Segmentation fault (core dumped) Removing the ffmpeg2-libs package from Community Squeeze eliminates the error. AFAIK, the only thing that depends on ffmeg2-libs is the squeezelite package, yet I can compile squeezelite from source without ffmpeg2-libs or ffmpeg2-devel. Is it really needed?
