Well I corrected my mistake and re-flashed my SD card with F19 R1. Configured everything and upgraded to the latest releases. These are my observations during this process: 1. Very minor thing: first time configuration: after submitting a new time zone, the webpage comes back with the initial entry (Europe/London). The system seems to have accepted the new value though (because when navigating away and back to the system page, the new setting appears). There seems to be some important difference between Fedora 18 and 19: 1. Wlan: security key configuration in Fedora 19 needs to be -iwconfig wlan0 key *open* s:yoursecretkeyhere- instead of -iwconfig wlan0 key s:yoursecretkeyhere-. Even with the above change, setting the key sometimes doesnt work. This needs more investigation in order to pinpoint the issue. Did the wireless driver brcmfmac change in Fedora 19? 2. mounting option pid=xx not supported. Uid still works fine so I just left out the pid option. I need to test this again but I dont think that will cause an issue since nobody has sufficient rights (needed for my backup process using rsync). 3. hostname configuration is now in /etc/hostname instead of /etc/hosts 1 x SB3, 1 x SB Boom, 1 x SB Radio and 2 x SB Touch - all wireless 1 x Wandboard behind the bedroom ceiling ReadyNAS NVX running LMS 7.7.2. w iTunes plugin iPeng on iPod Touch. SqueezePad & iPeng on iPad. http://www.last.fm/user/phibon ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Pascal Hibon's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7969 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=99395
