I'm running 13.1 64 bit on intel iron. I had to resort to the nightly
build to get LMS to work. The stable RPM didn't run and don't even get
me started on the tarball. [Perl is sure picky.]
I used the nightly build on New Years day and it more or less works on
Opensuse 13.1 However I did need to fiddle with cpan.
I had to run cpan as follows:
cpan YAML
cpan XS
cpan EV
Having never run cpan before, I don't get the warm and fuzzies since it
seems to be loading software from the aether rather than a repository
with certs.
I get a few error messages when I fire up the daemon in Yast2 services.

The file /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs/server.prefs does exist. It is
pretty big so I won't post it unless someone needs to see it.
I can stream music, so it isn't like I am dead in the water. I'd just
like to clean up a bit.
