Hi guys, I've not been around much this weekend. More hardware failures! Broken routers. (I've got to stop buying cheap chinese no-brand junk! ;)) Another failed hard disk....
Pascal, that mini SSD soldered to a standard SATA plug is interesting. Lintweaker, glad you sorted your armv7nhl issue. dsdreamer, great that you have hdmi working with F20 and that 3.13 kernel. If you can, (because I haven't tested it), and chance of you testing spdif TOSLINK out and verifying that is working? Also, perhaps you could install cpuburn package and run cpuburn-a9 for 24 hours for a little torture testing..... On Friday, having recently done a little re-factoring and re-naming the Java web-gui, I started looking at merging the 3 local branches I had back into "trunk". I'd forgotten about something I'd done a while back but never released, which delays displaying the "Processing, please wait..." screen for 3 seconds, to see if the back-end operations complete before then, in which case it isn't displayed, instead straight to the "results" page. It makes the Java web-gui seem a little faster. I'll make a F19 build of that later this evening. The other most interesting branch contains the writeable fstab edit and format disk code, which I chickened out of pushing before, not wanting anyone to end up with a "chewed" fstab if things went wrong, resulting in a machine that won't boot any more...... But I'm going to merge this code in, maybe not tonight, but it's coming, and push it out there, with a great big disclaimer, that if it causes you an issue, oops, I'm sorry..... ;) Actually, I'm going to make sure before any edits to fstab, that it saves a copy, which it doesn't currently do. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JackOfAll's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3069 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=99395 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
