I hear you. I had a thought this afternoon and fired off an email. This might become a non-issue that we don't need to work around. It seems we may be able to obtain a firmware loader for the dongle and a modified firmware which maps the pause/play buttons to different keycodes. ;) Am waiting to hear back from the distributor who has contacted the manufacturer.
