Hi Felix - glad to see you've joined the CSOS club! At present we are assuming IR remotes create keyboard input as far as jivelite is concerned. There are a few additions to jivelite to support keyboard input from an IR remote including scroll using SMS numbers etc. Most of the testing has been using an flirc device which does something similar to the device you have, but without the device driver. We have also looked at a windows MCE remote dongle which also creates key board input. The CSOS includes a patched version of SDL which should support this.
