I agree that the situation is unclear, especially as to whether the hardware is continuing. Personally I was surprised to see that the plan was that the player hardware would also run a full LMS server. This seems a waste of time to me and I would have thought anyone geeky enough to be still running LMS. Surely nearly everyone has a server? All I wanted was a better network player to replaced my Duet Receiver. Frankly a Duet Receiver that can play 24/96 would be enough to satisfy me, I'm already using an external DAC.
