Just installed Archlinux on my BBB and then SoA on top of it (as in post #1), just on SD card at the moment, will move to eMMC later. All running fine. I don't tend to bother with wifi on the BBB and haven't checked that, I assume it will need the additional linux bits but not concerned at this stage.
Small thing - the player would not come active at first, played around and eventually noticed that I had a space in the Squeezelite player name where as I didn't for the Wandboard. Put a "-" on place of the blank and it started! Like the new logo by the way. SoA on BBB has a ring to it!
