As all the example profiles in "/etc/netctl/examples" use CIDR notation for the ip address. I think the WEBUI network page would be more universal if there was conversion between webpage input/display of dotted decimal notation and the CIDR format as stored in the actual profile file. Of course this is true for both the ethernet and wireless pages.
