High Def music files are a waste of disk space and processing cycles, so I am quite happy to stick to 16/44.1 Red Book as long as it can decode the file format.
I find it frustrating there is so much concentration on high definition when the BIG issue is increasing the availability of uncompressed formats (FLAC, ALAC and WMA lossless) as well as less compression / better mastering of CDs.
