As usual, the device number changes after every reboot.  Currently it is
hw:1,0 although I am having better luck using the device name in place
of the number.  For your testing I am using the number that is showing
in the device list of the GUI.

I did it right the first time when I stopped the service as a separate
command.

I'll work on it some tomorrow.
