A quick message to say that I have successfully updated my Wandboard
Quad from CSOS to SOA following the instructions on page 1. My only
problems were :- 1/ Wandboard Ubuntu needed an update and install of
openSSH to allow me to login.
2/ On the first try the Wandboard wouldn't boot from the created SD
card - although there was a 'successfully created' message. Possibly the
SD card had some other partitions on it from an old Rpi build. Erased
the card and all worked fine on the second try.
Improvements noted over CSOS - I was having problems with network name
resolution on Windows PC's on my network - the NAS box I use (a QNAP)
wouldn't appear in the 'explorer' Network list. Turning off the
Wandboard fixed it so I think it was a problem with Samba messing up the
rather flaky Windows Master Browser stuff. Also the audio output level
on CSOS was rather low and needed some fiddling with ALSA to make it
work properly. Thanks very much for all the effort in creating this and
keeping Squeezebox alive.
