Last night I converted a second, slightly newer Wandboard from CSOS to SoA. Unlike the Wandboard I'd previously converted, this one did automatically reboot and become available just fine without the need for a power cycle. Given some of the other comments here, I suspect there's some minor difference between the two.
At the time I was doing the conversion, I had two Wandboards sitting next to me. I meant to unplug the one that was ready to be moved back to its permanent home but instead stupidly unplugged the one that was in the middle of the install.
