I couldn't get it working either and I do have it hooked up to my TV, The process stops abruptly with just the tc@box login. I've tried the suggestion our German friend offered but my German is more than a little patchy, he said;
"I've tried the Image of Wired Charlie. Unfortunately, I can not get it to work as it stands. It may be missing some files in the image. That's why I used a current PicorePlayerimage and then installed the scripts of Wired Charlie. It works now. - Install a current version of Picoreplayer (1.16) - Copy the Python script (readsq.py) from TheWiredcharlie image to / mnt / mmcblk0p2 / tce - In line 966 of readsq.py the MAC of the players enter replace (or by $ (cat / sys / class / net / eth0 / address) - Insert the line "sudo /mnt/mmcblk0p2/tce/readsq.py &" in the file /opt/bootlocal.sh - Type command "sudo filetool.sh b" - Reboot - Have fun:-)" I've done everything but the line 966 thing as I can't find the entry he talks about. My pi loads and plays music but the display just shows large dark blocks. Any ideas? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Murphyprecht's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=63254 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101269 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
