Whoa! thanks for all the response / input / I thoughts:D I thought was on my own this this one, but we all see the same use case: walk in to a room and and switch the pircoreplayer-radio on regardless of how long it's been switched off or unplugged.... exactly like and 'old fashioned' radio, without having to use ipeng, or a computer. It is the lack of this feature that is preventing widespread adoption in my household :( Would it be possible to have a radio button on one of the config menus: "Start automatically playing on boot ON /OFF", - followed by a box where i could enter a url for the picoreplayyer to start playing: "http://stream-uk1.radioparadise.com:80/mp3-192" - or (probably more complicated) select one of the favourites held on LMS to start playing on boot? - or (even more complicated) use the GPIO to enable push button switches to change the favs (just like old fashioned car radios) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ alephnull's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=63289 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97803 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
