I do appreciate your willingness to help. Everything is hardwired LAN, with Cat6. Gigabit switches, etc. I have experienced the glitch in different rooms (via different switches) with both the B and B+. I even connected the B to the same switch that my LMS server (2011 Mac mini) is on, just to eliminate that. I have a Transporter, Classic, Touch, Boom, and 3x Radios, none of which experience this problem. Using HiFiBerry Digi, no issues. Using built-in audio, issue 100% repeatable. Make sure you are listening to a track that favors duplicating the problem in the last 10 seconds, i.e. constant tone, speaking or quiet passage (without drums or crowd noise). Gapless = fine. bpa wrote: > The players in these reports were Squeezeplay and not Squeezelite which > are different implementations and problem also happens on windows and > Linux so little commonality on the player side except possibly > portaudio. You may be correct. I only discovered those issues because I did exhaustive searches with terms similar to what I was hearing. The way that it is repeatable, and occurs exactly at -10 seconds (i.e. not -12 seconds or -8 seconds) leads me to conclude it has to do with how LMS sends the next track data to the player. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ SamS's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9261 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97803 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
