None of the above worked for me, did a clean install four times now, even tried another sd card, just to be on the safe site. Next week I'm going to borough another RasPi from a colleague, maybe its just some wired hardware thing. Although I was running Rasbmc on that same Pi just a week ago and had no sound issues. I'll report back as soon as I got different hardware to try.
