:cool: The 'pi usb is allegedly (by those who "know" about these things) compromised by share the same 'bus' (tink that is the word) as the Ethernet. Try it and see is all I can offer, from my own experience,the HiFiBerry Digi is very good, the IQaudIO dac very good, and using a couple of USB dacs with SqueezePlug and piCorePlayer, the only real difference was the connectivity (dac drivers included in the respective kernels). I have also used a cubox base player with both usb and spdif outlets.
