The typical "ssid switch off" only turns off one of the several ways the ssid is broadcasted anyway , a person with the rigth software finds it in seconds. and it's actually incompatible with many devices , so don't . If you want to be reasonably safe use WPA AES and a really strong password ,long and random ( and not the default that came with the router if it was delivered that way ) dont use WEP it's cracked years ago. While at it another bad idea is mac adress filtering , you often forget that you ever did it and they are easily spoofed anyway . -------------------------------------------------------------------- Main hifi: Touch + CIA PS +MeridianG68J MeridianHD621 MeridianG98DH 2 x MeridianDSP5200 MeridianDSP5200HC 2 xMeridianDSP3100 +Rel Stadium 3 sub.
