Yes, I cut'n'pasted from the settings in LMS, then clicked "Add Music". Then it wipes the cut'n'paste so that field is blank and it starts reading your music. There is no indication that anything is happening other than the HDD light on the computer should be active and depending on the hard disk you may be able to hear activity.
