If you are running LMS 7.8.0 or LMS 7.9.0 on VortexBox 2.3, the
--localfile option is set in /etc/sysconfig/squeezeboxserver, so your VB
is running LMS with the --localfile option already, and you need to do
nothing more.
You can verify by logging into your VB and entering

systemctl -l status squeezeboxserver
--------------------
which will show the options being used by LMS.
