It seems to be just as simple as that. While SOA was intalling I connected using putty. disabled timedatectl (timedatectl set-ntp false), edited /etc/systemd/timesyncd.conf en restarted timedatectl. And within a few minutes the install completed!
Considering my Hifiberry Digi+, there is an Audio Device hw:CARD=sndrpihifiberry.
