Thought about this some more. As the piCore Player doesn't come with a remote, people are presumeably controlling their pi Players with apps on either smartphones or tablets. So, if the LMS server has gone to sleep then the smartphone app should send the WOL packet to the LMS box. Until iPeng, OrangeSqueeze and Squeeze Commander etc have this function added a simple WOL app will wake up the LMS. A quick google for "wake on lan app android" brings up a whole bunch of free apps that will do this. Glenmorangie, will this work for you ?
