Ok, I see that I had lost track of the other thread... You should probably update the other one, asking whether the guy posting there eventually got it to work.
Meanwhile: other than the postings in the other thread say, you at some point got some log output from 7.7. Do you get the same for 7.9? Could you please post it? As much as you can find?
