Is this what's new in the latest install?
Triode, Ok, I found the problem now. The new SoA install had locale set to "C". It should have been set to en_US.UTF8 or something like that in order to see the unicode chars. So, I edited /etc/locale.gen and uncommented en_US.UTF8 UTF8. Then I executed "locale-gen" and then reboot. Unicode chars are now back! The NTFS mount persistence is still a problem. Sometimes it doesn't work. Can you look into why? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Kuro's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16701 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101624 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
