Hi folks- Hopefully, this is an easy fix. I did a clean install of Linux Mint MATE 17.1 the other day. Previously, I had Mint 14 and things weren't updating, so I figured I'd got for the latest and greatest, especially since it is a LTS. I downloaded the latest LMS 7.7.5 and installed with GDebi package manager (once I figure out how the heck to do that). LMS server seems to be running fine- I can start and stop it in terminal BUT I can't seem to access the interface at: http://127.0.0.1:9000/ My browser (Opera) says, "Could not connect to remote server" and Firefox says something similar.
What could be going on? Could it be some sort of port issue? Or a permissions issue? Thanks in advance for any help!
