I've been using an older image on a b+ happily. I have it connected to my home theater via hdmi and the audio quality is good enough for my ears. I would like to turn the tv on and see what's playing - I think this was a request from early on, and since it's hdmi out into my receiver, the hookups are all there - has there been much interest in a feature like this? If there is, would it be a difficult dev task? Maybe lean on the library that was used in the duet remote's little screen or something, or even from the classic?
Doubtful the new raspberry pis would increase the capabilities in this regard, but I'll try to shoe-horn this request into that discussion to try to pique interest.
