OK thats where the problems/fun starts  .
Local player should probably have a bunch of settings pages you can
experiment with to find the currect output .

And you need to figure if alsa is installed , even if the NAS has this
hardware who knows if the software even have a sound system ?

You can browse the squeezelite treads to get info on how to scan for
usable outputs .

But now where above my knowledge leevel .
