You want to stick a RPI in each speaker, one doing the left channel and
the other the right channel? 

LMS has the option to synchronize multiple players but I have limited
experience with that, it works great for having the same music in
different rooms but having 2 players/speakers in perfect sync to not
introduce all kinds of audible artifacts...maybe others have walked down
that path already and have positive experiences.

If I would want to include the RPI in an active speaker I would include
the RPI in one of the speakers and run the other output channel with a
wire to the other speaker.



does the all-black SB sound better than the white SB?
