I found the problem: I am a complete idiot.

I'm home today and was able to spend some time looking into this. Right
off I noticed that my three Wandboards were all running different LMS
versions, which says right off that something has been updating.

I kicked off updates on all three and they're now all on the latest
version.

Here's the source of my confusion:

Code:
--------------------

  upgrading logitechmediaserver-7.9-lms...
  ==> Cleaning up...
  ==> WARNING: A package has already been built, installing existing package...
  ==> Installing package linux-wandboard-soa with pacman -U...
  warning: linux-wandboard-soa-3.10.17-4 is up to date -- skipping
  loading packages...
  there is nothing to do
  ==> Cleaning up...

  Update complete: Thu Jun 11 12:54:55 PDT 2015

--------------------

I kept seeing "is up to date -- skipping" not long after the reference
to the LMS upgrade and, apparently being illiterate, didn't connect it
to "linux-wandboard-soa.3.10.17-4". The latter is the updated kernel,
which is indeed up to date.

Thank you again for all your help and suggestions, and I'm really sorry
that I had you chasing wild geese on my behalf.
