However. I could list some stuff over here that makes everything more efficient. I * apply different GCC options. These generate more efficient code (I check this with linpack). Triode uses more generic parameters. * apply some overclocking * turn peripherals off (e.g. HDMI) * strip down the kernels and change the config * strip down the squeezelite config (Makefile) * apply this or that OS tuning * play with squeezelite parameters Beside that I use a good power supply, add some quality capacitors to the PI power rails and also use a USB audio filter.
