Hi guys,
Who finds posts about volume control confusing?
Here are some? of the places where the volume can be controlled in the
audio chain.

2. preamp hardware
3. amp hardware
4. ALSA software
5. DAC software

Personally I use 1 and 2 (4 is often set to 0db or 100%).
Any additions or comments?
