Not a fix but ralphy 1.8 was built with ffmpeg. my files were alac and so played without transcoding. 16/44 alacs work fine but 24/88 or 24/96 crash. if i use 24 bit flacs with v1.8 ralphy they also work but it uses libflac. im thinking there was an issue with the v1.8 compike with ffmpeg.
