Hi I am a fairly new squeezebox user with an old SB3/Classic. I had this running nicely using an Ubuntu 14.04 box with a NAS and LMS 7.6. Then one day - no music.
The track appears on the SB display and I can see all of the music in my library (either on the Ubuntu box or on the NAS) using the SB menu. When I click play in LMS the track appears to play and the timer progresses. However on the SB the track title comes up but the music does not play. This occurs for the many versions of LMS I have installed and reinstalled since this problem occurred. I am pretty experienced with UNIX and have also played extensively with the router including factory resets. I have also reset the SB using factory reset and Xilinx resets. The computer ports appear OK and the router can see all of the components. The LMS log appears clear after server start - I did get the DNS.pl line 1114 issue reported elsewhere for a while but that seems to have disappeared.
