The Linux stuff is probably beyond me. I did try the netstat -nt in Terminal on my Mac, and got a long list that doesn't make much sense to me. Did you mean that I should enter the command on the Rasberry Pi itself? Regardless, I've been using the CanaKit WiFi dongle (which uses the Ralink 5370 chipset) and still experiencing the occasional dropouts. The audio just stops playing and when I go to the LMS screen on my Mac, the music shows it still playing. And the audio never resumes by itself. I have to restart the song or the album. But here's a couple of interesting observations. It seems pretty consistent that the audio dropout occurs soon after a song begins. AND I have observed that every time it has happened so far, it has been with albums that include artwork. I typically use XLD to encode my CDs these days, and it usually includes the artwork. But a huge part of my music collection was imported using iTunes, which did not automatically include the album artwork. Is it possible that LMS is getting hung up while importing the artwork? It seems strange, but maybe true at this point in my testing. The problem is intermittent enough that I can't say for sure. Still testing . . . ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ghulse's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13636 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97803 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
