hi preiter,

You might be better waiting for piCorePlayer1.21a which is due in a
couple of days.

Or, if you have a couple of minutes to experiment, try this if you have
wired Ethernet.

1. Select [Beta] mode.
2. Click on the [Extensions] button on the Main page.
3. Type "wifi" in Extension name field.
4. Click [Search].
5. Click [Load].

Is it loading wifi extensions or does it say "wifi is already
installed!"?

This process will load the wifi software if it is missing.
