HI there,

I've been using picoreplayer on my "old" Raspberry Pi for quite some
time now. I wanted to add another player to my network and purchased a
new Raspberry Pi 2 with Hifiberry's DAC+ Pro.
What I've observed now is the following behavior using the most recent
version piCorePlayer1.21b on both devices. While the old Raspberry plays
all my files on my squeezebox server like a charm, I cannot play some
files on the new device, regardless of using the analog output of the
Hifiberry DAC+ Pro or the HDMI output - they seem to play fine but all I
have is silence on my speakers.

The files in question are Apple Lossless with various bitrates and
sampling rates, yet all in the range that the Hifiberry can manage
(24bit / 192kHz). If I convert those ALAC files to FLAC, they play just
fine on all devices.

In short:

FLAC files can be played on RP1 and RP2
-Some- ALAC files can only be played on the old RP1, even though I run
piCorePlayer1.21b on both devices

Any ideas? Does the squeezelite version of the RP1 image differ from the
RP2 image?

Thanks much in advance!
