I'm happy to report I successfully got picoreplayer squeezelite to work with my XMC-1 DAC...with a caveat:
I am running picoreplayer v1.21g *Output setting:* I used the same value listed in the support dac list hw:CARD=XMC1,DEV=0 *ALSA setting:* I had to use 80:4:16 which means I am playing only at 16 bit which is fine for me since I dont have any hirez music. I'l look into this later with a possible solution posted here (http://emotivalounge.proboards.com/post/739225/thread) The supported DAC list also indicates *FIQ-Split acceleration on tweaks page set to 1*.
