Interesting - I have an old iPod Touch (3rd Gen I think) sitting in a
draw.  I might try this procedure with it and iPeng or the original
controller app - as that is what the family are most familiar with.

There are a lot of 7" - 9" Android tablets like the Hudl2. They would be
ideal.  Sounds like there are ways to lock down the apps on both systems
now, so it is just the charging issue.  Will probably just take a view.
