So I've loaded piCorePlayer 1.21g on a raspberry pi 2 connected to the 'official' 7" touch screen LCD.
I enable Jive Lite in piCorePlayer and the package is downloaded from Ralphy's repository and installed. After reboot Jive Lite starts up, I choose my language and the Joggler skin and things generally work as expected. But there do not appear to be any functions to turn off the LCD backlight. I've looked at Ralphy's repository and the instructions there suggest that piCorePlayer 1.21G and newer load the jivelite_touch.tcz but that does not appear to be the case. So I follow the instructions as best I can and manually install jivelite_touch. That seems to work and provides the options to turn off the backlight in the screen saver settings. But the backlight does not turn off.
