hi Peter,

Logging can be enabled on the Squeezelite Settings page (in [Normal]
mode)

1. Log level setting to all=info 
2. Log file name to something like squeezelite.log

What version do you upgrade from?

Hopefully someone may be able to offer some optional buffer settings.
