Thank you, Steen , but I must apologize I am very new to anything Linux. Do I type this command into the piCorePlayer "Output Setting" field? In place of or in addition to the current iec958:CARD=SA8005,DEV=0 entry? Thank you very much for your help! I also see in the Audio Tweaks section some options to change USB communication. Maybe that could help? (It's been playing fine for several hours now so I am very close to having it work, I feel, and it sounds very good when working.) Might the buffer settings have an impact?
