I am currently putting together a PiCore Player and amplifier (Hypex nCore Modules) into a custom machined aluminium housing. Touching the Power-Off button on the touch screen or the power off in the browser appears to do nothing. There doesn't appear to be a standby mode for the picore player. Would it be possible to add in a Standby mode where the backlight to the LCD is switched off to save power. Additionally it would be great that if the standby mode was enabled that one of the GPIO pins on the Raspberry Pi changed state. This could then be used to put the amplifier into standby. Upon touching the screen again or clicking the power button on a remote device or browser the GPIO pin would toggle and the LCD backlight switch on.
I think this would be a useful addition and would seem to be relatively simple to achieve. Thanks in advance ------------------------------------------------------------------------ nzmark99's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=65351 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105018 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
