Hi Clive, I personalty would like something that mutes / un-mutes the amp based on the power state in squeezelite. I have two AudioIQ amps to test some other things but haven't come around to that. I'm still experimenting with the HiFiBerry amp right now (which does not have a mute / un-mute mechanism I believe). The same behavior without an amp hat (toggle a GPIO pin) is also very useful to control the power to an external amplifier. So if I understand correctly, your dt overlay would only affect things when the AudioIQ driver is loaded and only un-mute the amp at boot, correct?
