Thanks for the suggestion and my apologies for posting then going on holiday for a week. I've installed Jivelite and programmed the FLIRC dongle from my Cyrus remote. I've attached an HDMI monitor to the Pi and rebooted but don't see anything on the display - I don't know if Jivelite would output to HDMI by default anyway. I don't know if this is why the FLIRC isn't responding to the stored commands. Is there more config for Jivelite? Would I be better off posting in a Jivelite thread?
