It works! Thanks Greg!!! I finally got the time to look at it, and the firmware basically works fine! The only issue was with the 'open' but mac restricted network I was trying to connect. Tried both the web interface, and wifi.sh... I ended up writing a little sh script that runs at startup and uses wpa_supplicant to connect... Still needs to be done: -using a 'plainAmp', doing active cross-over to mix stereo to mono and split it to tweeter/ woofer ( as explained here: https://polyvection.com/guides/plainamp-active-biamping/) . I simply need to compile the c file here: [https://github.com/PolyVection/PlainAMP] but I can't get the gcc work. it complains about the headers.. -GPIO + rotary encoder for volume control: I found a few discussions on this ( e.g. http://forum.tinycorelinux.net/index.php?topic=18922.0) and a tcz (https://github.com/alidaf/raspberryPi/tree/master/binaries). Tcz loaded fine after expanding the sd card, but I need an encoder to actually test it.. I'm a little in doubt about the concept of 'expanding' the space on sd card - does it mean that pcp do not run on the RAM anymore? or is there any disadvantage? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ gozkil's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=65398 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105018 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
