I have installed piCorePlayer 2.02 on an RPi1b+ and have problems when
listening to web radio. The LMS is on a separate RPi3 running max2play,
with music stored locally, and connected to my router via cable. The
client RPi1b+ is connected via a TP-Link TL-WN725N V2 USB WiFi dongle as
I have no cabling options in the room where it is located.

When streaming music (FLAC, MP3) from the LMS server, there is no
problem at all, everything reacts swiftly and no dropouts etc. However,
when I try to listen to web radio, it doesn't work. I get 5-10 seconds
of radio, then approximately 1 minute of silence, folllowed by another
10 seconds radio sound etc. I am wondering why I get this problem,
because before I installed pCP 2.02, I used to run Volumio on the exact
same hardware without any problems at all when streaming radio. I have
tried to modify buffer settings in pCP, but that does not seem to make
any difference. However, I am not sure I know how to optimize buffer
sizes, so it has mostly been trial-and-error-based so far.

I could of course install Volumio again, but I like pCP better. I think
the problem must be related to the connection or the buffers, because i
can stream radio from the same server to a Squeezebox Duet in another
room without any problems. On the other hand, it does not seem to make
sense to me as I think much more data would be need to be transferred
when playing FLAC than when streaming radio.

Any suggestions for how to proceed with the troubleshooting would be
appreciated.
